Mastering can be thought of as taking several different songs and making them sound cohesive, as if they are all part of the same unit, or disc. Mastering is also used to help songs translate across multiple systems as well as bring your song's loudness to commercially acceptable levels.

The mastering process can be completed for anyone globally through the Internet using free file sharing software. Local musicians can supply necessary files through the Internet or in person.

Once the mastering process is completed, an mp3 will be sent to you so that you can listen to your music on multiple audio systems. If you hear things that you would like to have changed, you can send back notes regarding the desired changes and a first revision of the mastered version of your project will be completed and returned to you. If necessary, this process will occur once more and result in the second and final revision of your mastered project. (Additional revisions are available at the hourly rate.)
